Custom Harley-Davidson Sportster Chop Project
Hand-painted portrait artwork, traditional scrollwork painted on a copper plated tins.
The frame was finished in custom copper metal flake to complement the artwork.
Bad Penny was commissioned as a one-off Harley-Davidson Sportster custom paint project. Inspired by the client's vision, I developed a design that combines hand-painted portrait artwork, traditional signwriting, intricate scrollwork and a rich copper-plated finish.
Every element was painted entirely by hand at the DDK Airbrushing workshop in Yorkshire. From the detailed portraits and hand-lettering to the fine scrollwork and candy finishes, every detail was carefully crafted to create a truly unique motorcycle with its own character and story.
